There’s nothing better than a classic wedding that can stand the test of time. With so many styles to choose from most bride’s vision of their wedding day style tends to evolve as the planning takes place. This gorgeous modern day traditional wedding is no different.
Initially, our bride, Priscilla, envisioned an indoor garden for their big day, but she knew she didn’t want it to be completely earthy and bohemian. Instead, she kept many traditional elements, with gold, cream, and ivory, paired with lush greenery, to create a luxurious glam feeling. One that feels like a modern-day traditional wedding.
The black-tie tuxedos and gold sequin bridesmaids dresses provide that traditional 007 feel. While the earthy touches of large green centerpieces and ivory roses provide a modern-day feel. Their floral selection made their wedding style more in line with today’s trends because they ditched the high tight florals for an earthy, free-flowing design.

About the Bride and Groom
This modern-day romance between Priscilla and Jordan started at the gym, followed by a little online flirting. After some time between their first meeting and the online flirting, they went out for smoothies and the rest, as they say, is history!
To get to know the bride and groom a little better, we asked them a few questions regarding their big day, here’s what they had to say:
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
“Right before Jordan and I made our entrance the excitement and anticipation we had to get the party started and join our friends and family was indescribable! Having them all on the dance floor waiting for us was super special!”
What’s the one memory that you and your guests still talk about today?
“How amazing the venue was!”
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone planning their big day?
“Don’t feel like you must do something just because that’s what everyone does. You don’t want your wedding to be the same as everyone else’s. Be fun! Think outside the box, it’s once in a lifetime and after all, it’s a party! The icebreaker video we had at our cocktail is an example, it was outside the box but it was a hit! I have many others on the more logistical side that is suppper important, but I would say choose your planner wisely and make sure they know the venue well. Obviously, I had the best! Eric Trelles is so good, but the planner will make or break a wedding! Lastly, small details count even though most people say no one notices. That does not mean drive yourself crazy with minute details. Pick one memorable thing that will cause an impact and trust me your guest will remember. For me it was these personalized handwritten leaves on each person’s seat EVERYONE told me how special they felt that I took the time to have their name waiting for them when they got to their table in such a beautiful and unique way.
Priscilla and Jordan’s wedding was absolutely beautiful and looked like a ton of fun! We love how they mixed elements and trends together to create this modern-day traditional wedding that we just can’t get enough of!
