If you’re planning an event in Miami, of course, you’ll want to hold it at Miami’s best event space, the Historic Alfred I. duPont Building.
And if you’re bringing in guests from out of town, they’ll want to know where to stay while they’re here. Here are a few of our favorites:
Luxury accommodations
According to U.S. News and World Report, Miami is home to three of the top 50 hotels in the country. Each year the magazine releases its list of the nation’s best lodging, ranked on the comfort of accommodations, exceptional customer service, and the availability of on-site amenities.
Ranked number three for the second year in a row, the five-star Acqualina Resort boasts three in-house restaurants, a grab-and-go market, four pools, a spa, and a spectacular beachfront on Sunny Isles. It’s also rated the best resort in the continental U.S.
Other hotels that made the list include Setai Miami Beach (#37), Faena in Miami Beach (#39), and the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort (#47). The Setai was also voted #1 on Travel + Leisure’s 2021 Greater Miami Beach Resort hotels, and Faena was named one of the best hotels in Miami by Condé Nast Traveler. St. Regis holds AAA’s Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star ratings.
Mid-price hotels
For more reasonable prices, the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell-Downtown is highly rated, moderately priced, and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in Miami.
The EB Hotel in Miami is close to the airport and receives high marks for its comfort and excellent bar and restaurant.
The Intercontinental Hotel is another mid-price hotel located in the heart of Miami that offers amazing views, easy access to the beach, and excellent customer service.
Budget-friendly hotels
For those on a more limited budget, you might suggest the Villa Italia South Beach Miami, located in the Art Deco area of South Beach and a five-minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants.
Another hotel with a great location for nearby restaurants and tourist activities is the AxelBeach Miami, an adults-only, LGBTQ-friendly hotel with a garden, fitness center, and bar.
Or have your guests check out the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon, noted for its customer service, comfortable rooms, and resort vibe.
These are just a few of the many nearby places your guests can stay when you schedule an unforgettable event at the Historic Alfred I. duPont Building in downtown Miami.
