Soft blues framed the room through dramatic draping, while shades of lavender, blush, ivory and green carried throughout the florals and tabletop design. Elegant chairs, custom stationery, candlelight and layered place settings brought even more texture to the celebration.

Inside the historic duPont Building, the softer palette created a beautiful contrast against the venue’s architecture. The result felt romantic and whimsical without losing the grandeur expected of a true Royal Ball.

Florals were one of the defining elements of Kennedy’s celebration.
Lavender and purple blooms appeared throughout the ballroom, including dramatic overhead installations, abundant arrangements surrounding feature areas and lush floral moments created specifically for photographs.
The scale of the arrangements worked especially well within the duPont Building. A historic venue gives event designers something more than an empty room to work with—it gives them architectural character to play against.

A Quinceañera Tablescape Filled With Color
Kennedy’s reception tables continued the Royal Ball aesthetic with layers of color and detail.
Green linens grounded the pastel palette while lavender, pink and ivory florals brought height and softness to the tables. Gold accents and candlelight added warmth, while custom stationery helped make every table feel personal to the celebration.

One of our favorite parts of Kennedy’s Royal Ball was how much there was for guests to experience.
The celebration extended far beyond dinner and dancing with interactive elements that included a candle-making station, perfume-making station, jewelry and pocket-watch making, an illustrator, a portrait experience and themed entertainment.
There were also live musical and entertainment elements that helped carry the Royal Ball concept throughout the event.
That combination made the evening feel immersive rather than simply decorated.

A Setting Made for a Grand Entrance
And then, of course, there was Kennedy.
Her blush ball gown fit the setting beautifully, especially photographed against the florals, draping and historic architectural details throughout the building.
