PartySlate Features the Historic Alfred I. duPont Building

When wealthy and connected A-listers want to party, many of them come to the Historic Alfred I. duPont Building in downtown Miami. So says PartySlate, in their article this month, “The 23 Top Celebrity & Influencer Weddings and Parties of 2022.”

PartySlate, the first digital platform designed specifically for event professionals, inspires people planning events and connects them with the leading event professionals and venues across the country and around the world.

Hollywood wedding

PartySlate singled out our venue this time specifically for the dazzling nuptials of “Orange Is the New Black” star Danielle Brooks. She and now-hubby Dennis Gelin tied the knot in a fairy-tale wedding and glamorous reception with a “burnt-orange color scheme and candlelit centerpieces to complement The Historic Alfred I. duPont Building’s impressive architectural details,” the platform says.

The reception, titled “Chocolate Love,” was designed to “make the space feel like guests were dining in a box of Godiva chocolates with decor in a palette of jewel tones and gold,” according to Vogue.

And more . . .

The stunningly restored Art Deco bank has been host to numerous such events. For instance, “Real Housewives of Miami” star Nicole Martin held her over-the-top Vegas-themed engagement party here this summer. Having met in Las Vegas, she and fiancé Anthony Lopez designed a “Hit the Jackpot in Love” theme.

And it’s not just weddings, either. The duPont Building has been host to numerous corporate events and parties, non-profit benefits, along with countless parties, dances, special events and performances.

It’s been the setting for many popular music videos by artists such as Pitbull, Ozuna, Malu Trevejo, and Gente DeZona. We even welcomed the Miami Film Festival and a special benefit hosted by Antonio Banderas.

One glance at our historic venue makes it easy to see why so many brides, celebrities, artists, and others choose The Historic duPont Building to help bring their vision to life.

Our special feature

One particular attraction of our venue is the lack of a curfew. Whether you’re holding a Las Vegas Night, Pride parties, a bar/bat mitzvah, a wedding reception or bachelor/bachelorette party, the last thing you want is a time clock ticking away on the festivities.

Well, you won’t have that problem here. If you’re looking for a unique venue in downtown Miami that will let you party till 7 a.m., look no further than the Historic Alfred I. duPont Building.
